WELCOME TO CLEVELAND IB SL CHEMISTRY 2017-18
The work you have done on the summer review packet should be turned in by 9/29. It will be graded as part of your course topical content.
The purpose of the summer review packet is to involve you in studying topics learned in first year Chemistry as deeply as you can to prepare for your eventual IB SL final examination in May.
The first unit we will continue a review of first year Chemistry. Topics briefly reviewed will include quantitative/stoichiometry, atomic theory, gas laws, periodicity, nomenclature, bonding, equilibrium, as well as acids and bases. The question bank review packet handed out in class will be developed into the unit test. There will be a test on this unit on 10/3. Watch all the posted videos by the day of the test.
You and your parent/guardian should read and sign the safety contract passed out in class and return by 9/5.
